NDIS services

Which NDIS services can I enquire about?

You can enquire about Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Access, Occupational Therapy and Behaviour Support. Availability, location, suitability and funding arrangements are discussed during intake.

What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?

SIL is support with daily tasks at home for people with higher support needs, including personal care, meals and household routines. It funds support workers rather than the home itself, and does not cover rent or groceries.

What can Community Access include?

Support may include social activities, hobbies, appointments, building travel skills and participation in local community life. The activities and support arrangements are agreed around the participant’s goals.

How can Occupational Therapy help?

Occupational therapy focuses on everyday activities and participation. An assessment can guide practical strategies, skill development and recommendations about equipment or the environment. The approach depends on the person’s needs and goals.

What does BSP mean here?

BSP refers to our Behaviour Support service. It focuses on understanding a person’s needs, communication and environment, then developing positive strategies to improve quality of life and support everyday participation.

How do I make a referral?

Use the NDIS referral form, or the referral form on any service page. Choose a service, share the participant’s goals and provide contact details. If you are referring someone else, you need their consent or lawful authority to share their information.

Do I need to upload my NDIS plan?

No. The initial form only asks for the information needed to discuss your request. You can leave the NDIS number blank. The team can discuss any further information needed during intake.

Can I use self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed funding?

Tell us how your plan is managed. We will confirm whether the requested support and funding arrangement can be accepted before entering a service agreement. A referral is not a confirmation of eligibility or funding.

How quickly can support begin, and what will it cost?

Start dates depend on the service, location, staff availability and assessment requirements. The team will discuss timing, applicable charges, any personal costs and service terms before you agree to proceed.

Can I raise a concern or use an advocate?

Yes. You can ask a trusted person or advocate to help you communicate. Use our Feedback & Complaints page to share a concern, including anonymously. NDIS quality and safety concerns can also be raised directly with the NDIS Commission.

Nursing agency

Which roles can I enquire about?

Our nursing agency takes enquiries for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and Disability Support Workers. Tell us about the setting and skills required so we can discuss suitable options.

How do I request nursing staff?

Use Contact Us and select Nursing staffing request. Include the role, location, dates, shift times and any essential experience. A team member can discuss requirements and availability before a placement is confirmed.

Are urgent or ongoing staffing requests accepted?

You can enquire about short-term, urgent or ongoing requirements. Coverage is subject to availability and suitability; submitting a request does not guarantee a staff member or a start time.

How do I register for work?

Visit Careers and submit an expression of interest with your preferred role, location, experience and availability. This joins the enquiry process; it does not confirm a vacancy or job offer.

What checks are needed before placement?

Requirements depend on the role and setting. These may include relevant qualifications, current professional registration for regulated roles, references, work rights and appropriate worker screening. The recruitment team confirms the requirements for a specific role.

How are pay, shifts and employment terms agreed?

These depend on the role, experience and engagement arrangement. Pay, shift details and terms are discussed and confirmed before an engagement is accepted. The website does not list a universal rate.

Can I tell you my preferred shifts or work location?

Yes. Include your location and availability in the Careers form. Preferences help with matching, although particular shifts or locations cannot be guaranteed.

How do I share feedback about a placement?

Use Feedback & Complaints and select Nursing agency. You can provide contact details for follow-up or submit anonymously. Please use your workplace’s immediate escalation process for urgent clinical or safety concerns.
